However, by using aluminium 3D printing, KK Group has created a busbar that is both lighter and uses radically less material. 3D-printed aluminium is not only lighter than copper; it also makes it possible to create more complex and optimised structures. <\/p>\n<p>3D printing technology makes it possible to tailor the design to achieve an optimal balance between cooling, strength, weight, and electrical conductivity. For example, the bionic design has made it possible to reduce material consumption without compromising the busbar\u2019s durability or performance. <\/p>\n<p>In addition, the use of 3D printing has led to a significant reduction in the number of components in the busbar. This has substantially shortened the time required for assembly and makes the production process both faster and more efficient.
