A new introduction to beneficial technology<\/span><\/h3>\n<\/div><\/div>\r\n\r\n

Through the AM Hybrid project at Dansk AM Hub<\/a>, <\/span>Spraino<\/span><\/a> has been introduced to new technology <\/span>that<\/span> has created positive effects <\/span>for the company<\/span> and<\/span> brought joy to sports halls across Denmark. <\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

Spraino<\/span>\u2019s<\/span> product <\/span>improves shoes<\/span>, enabling athletes to perform at a higher level <\/span>in<\/span> indoor sports <\/span>and avoid injuries. <\/span>A product<\/span> that speaks to athletes\u2019 hearts and includes the mounting and overmoulding of friction-free elements <\/span>for<\/span> indoor shoes<\/span>. After venturing into relatively unfamiliar <\/span> technological <\/span>waters<\/span>, <\/span>Spraino<\/span> has moved one step closer <\/span>to <\/span>an even better product.<\/span><\/p>\n

Neither thermoforming nor injection moulding tools have been sufficient or delivered satisfactory results for Spraino, which has previously experimented with various options to create an even better product. 3D printing and Freeform Injection Molding (FIM) proved to be the technologies that could move Spraino\u2019s product development forward. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n

FIM<\/span> technology<\/span> and 3D-printed reusable moulds <\/span>have been<\/span> the way forward for <\/span>Spraino<\/span>, enabling <\/span>easier and faster<\/span> <\/span>has been able to<\/span> <\/span>production of<\/span> functional prototypes and <\/span>creation of <\/span>new designs every week. <\/span>The company has also been able to reap financial benefits from using the technologies, which is <\/span>particularly<\/span> welcome in a <\/span>start-up<\/span> such as <\/span>Spraino<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

The company aims to be able to print and mould soles in its low-friction materials easily, quickly, and locally, which <\/span>can provide<\/span> even better opportunities for product development and small-scale production. <\/span>By printing in low-friction materials, <\/span>Spraino<\/span> can carry out accurate tests with realistic loads and speeds, thereby achieving more <\/span>precise<\/span> results and knowledge about the low-friction material. <\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

At present, it is not possible for <\/span>Spraino<\/span> to use FIM technology for final production, meaning it is primarily reserved for product development. However, <\/span>Spraino<\/span> will continue to develop the technology and has several <\/span>ideas<\/span> for how production can be carried out via 3D printing in low-friction materials. <\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n
