Each year, Dansk AM Hub takes the pulse of <\/span> developments in Additive Manufacturing and 3D printing, focusing on adoption in Denmark and putting it into perspective in relation to global developments in the field.<\/span><\/p>\n

AM Magazine is aimed at stakeholders in the Danish AM ecosystem as well as Danish manufacturing companies, especially small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).<\/span><\/p>\n

Dansk AM Hub published Dansk AM Report for the first time in 2019. All publications can be downloaded below.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

In 2023, the publication changes its name to AM Magazine. <\/span><\/p>\n

AM Report 2022: How we create more sustainable production<\/h2>\n

More companies find that AM enables them to create more sustainable production through reduced material consumption and waste, and by developing products that are easier to recycle. And many actually experience a greater sustainability impact from using the technology than they had expected.<\/span><\/p>\n

AM Report 2021: Potential for a sustainable future<\/h2>\n

You can read about how the COVID-19 pandemic led healthcare systems, business organisations, companies, and private individuals to print and distribute the protective equipment for which there was an acute demand. And how local production with 3D printing and AM made manufacturing companies with global supply chains more independent of foreign deliveries during the COVID-19 crisis. <\/p>\n

With local production, better designs, and lower material consumption and waste, AM is a sustainable manufacturing technology\u2014where production only becomes more sustainable as printing materials become bio-based.<\/p>\n

AM Report 2020: Danish companies call for education and skills in 3D printing<\/h2>\n

According to representatives from larger Danish companies, the manufacturing industry faces a serious challenge in maintaining international competitiveness if it does not embrace new technologies to a greater extent. They are strongly calling for employees with the necessary knowledge and skills in AM.<\/span> <\/p>\n

AM Report 2019: Danish companies need to think more strategically<\/h2>\n

A survey among Danish manufacturing companies concludes that 25% use AM \/ 3D printing. <\/p>\n

Companies find that the use of AM technology affects their business approach and model, and that they are much better able to meet users\u2019 needs. At the same time, the technology has a positive effect on the company\u2019s product innovation. <\/p>\n

However, they primarily use the technology for prototypes, and according to Dansk AM Hub, Danish companies need to adopt the technology at a different level if they are to truly benefit from the growth potential in 3D printing and Additive Manufacturing.<\/p>\n
