{"id":3916,"date":"2022-10-06T18:42:44","date_gmt":"2022-10-06T16:42:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/am-hub.dk\/strong-interest-in-this-years-am-venture-day\/"},"modified":"2026-09-02T11:42:05","modified_gmt":"2026-09-02T09:42:05","slug":"strong-interest-in-this-years-am-venture-day","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/am-hub.dk\/en\/strong-interest-in-this-years-am-venture-day\/","title":{"rendered":"Strong interest in this year\u2019s AM Venture Day"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\">Strong interest in this year\u2019s AM Venture Day<\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>On Thursday, 15 September, Dansk AM Hub, in collaboration with AM Ventures and Hello Tomorrow, held its annual AM Venture Day-an event where we bring together the most innovative startups in 3D printing\/AM and match them with leading investors. This year, it took place as part of TechBBQ at Lokomotivv\u00e6rkstedet-the largest tech startup and investor conference in the Nordics. <\/p>\n<p>The format was designed so that both parties could get to know each other better and leave with new knowledge and inspiration. Therefore, this year we introduced a new format, where both startups and investors were invited on stage to deliver a short pitch in front of the audience. This contributed to an energetic atmosphere, as well as a curiosity that laid the foundation for many good conversations and new contacts afterwards, when there was time to network.  <\/p>\n<p>AM Venture Day 2022 was a clear sign that the AM startup ecosystem in Denmark is thriving, with as many as 15 startups and 9 VCs participating on the day. This is a major contrast to the same event last year, when we welcomed 5 startups, which testifies to the growing interest in-and support for-this year\u2019s event. At Dansk AM Hub, our ambition is not for Denmark to compete with companies the size of those in, for example, Germany and the USA; instead, we have a vision of making Denmark a global leader in applying AM.   <\/p>\n<p>This starts with entrepreneurs, and therefore the increasing participation of startups-as well as investors-is a sign that more and more entrepreneurs have become aware of a technology that can help ensure the green transition in our production. At the same time, it is also a sign that Denmark has an innovation environment on a par with the countries around us. <\/p>\n<span
