Our first Additive Manufacturing Roundtable \u2013 and what a success!<\/h2>\n

Our Roundtable session focuses on AM in production \u2013 and the first kick-off workshop was about opportunities with soft tooling using Additive Manufacturing.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

We had the pleasure of bringing together leading manufacturers from Denmark, including the LEGO Group<\/a>, Novo Nordisk<\/a>, Coloplast<\/a>, GN Group<\/a> and Ambu A\/S<\/a>, as well as international technology providers including toolcraft AG<\/a>, Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft<\/a> and EOS.<\/a> Actors who all share a common interest in new approaches to accelerate product development with Additive Manufacturing.<\/span><\/p>\n

The ambition of this Roundtable was to engage in discussion and share experience on soft tooling with like-minded representatives from Danish industry. Peter Bay from J. Krebs & Co. talked about the possibilities of AM soft tooling from a Danish hybrid approach. Dr.-Ing. Kristian Arntz, Head of Department at Fraunhofer, focused on <\/span>AM in industrial process chains and closing gaps in conventional manufacturing technologies \u2013 and Christoph Hauck from toolcraft talked about the future of Additive Manufacturing with their project <\/span>AMbitious. The day ended with an open discussion on <\/span>both experiences, opportunities and barriers related to the cost-effective method that enables you to speed up product innovation in small-scale production of parts. <\/p>\n
