Nordic AM Alliance
The Nordic Additive Manufacturing Alliance (NAMA) brings together leading additive manufacturing actors from Finland, Sweden, Norway, and Denmark into the first Nordic cooperation network in the field.
The goal of the NAMA project is to promote sustainable production, strengthen supply chain resilience, increase innovation, and create new growth opportunities for Nordic companies.
The initiative responds to a growing need for more sustainable and flexible production systems. In recent years, global supply chains have become increasingly vulnerable due to geopolitical tensions, climate change, and logistical disruptions. At the same time, industries face increasing pressure to reduce emissions, improve resource efficiency, and accelerate digitalization.
Additive manufacturing provides a concrete solution to these challenges by enabling localized, on-demand, and resource-efficient production. The Nordic countries already possess strong national expertise in additive manufacturing, but cooperation remains fragmented. NAMA aims to combine these strengths into a shared Nordic collaboration.
Project period: June 2026 – June 2028
