Create value with new production technology
Dansk AM Hub helps companies turn new production technology into product innovation and tangible business benefits.
Cases – Innovation in practice
Through our cases, we show how 3D printing can create value across industries—from sustainable construction and the green transition to design, production, and material use.
Is your production setup a limitation or a strength? And are there new opportunities?

Advice on product innovation
Dansk AM Hub is Danish industry’s innovation partner. We help companies leverage new production technology to create better products, reduce time-to-market, create business value, and improve sustainability.
We guide you safely and impartially from idea and potential assessment to the design, testing, and implementation of Additive Manufacturing—also known as 3D printing.
Where is the potential in your production?
Assessing potential
Identifying where Additive Manufacturing can strengthen your products, functionality, and time-to-market.
From prototype to production
Support for testing, validation, and the transition from development to production or series production.
Design and technology selection
Input on design for AM, materials, and technologies—with a focus on what makes business sense.
Risk reduction and decision basis
Impartial advice that gives you a clear basis for decision-making and reduces misinvestment.
Dansk AM Hub helps manufacturing companies reduce costs, development time, and CO₂ through additive manufacturing.
When Additive Manufacturing is used correctly, the impact is felt directly across three parameters: cost, time, and CO₂. At Dansk AM Hub, we help companies select the right AM cases, optimise design, and build a solid decision basis so the gains become tangible and measurable.

Our services
Programme
Do you want to get started with AM in your company—or take the next step? AM Sustain is a comprehensive yet individually tailored programme for Danish companies that want to get started with, or continue working with, 3D printing in their business to increase competitiveness and achieve sustainable gains.
CO2e calculator
Is 3D printing the sustainable choice for your company? With our CO2e calculator, you can get a data-based answer before you get started. The calculator compares the carbon footprint of traditional production with additive manufacturing based on the product’s entire life cycle. It is easy, fast, and accurate.
Cases
How have other companies approached it? We have compiled a range of cases where Danish manufacturing companies have achieved results with 3D printing—everything from product optimisation to circular transition.
What companies say

Jørgen Vestergaard, Director Specialist, KK Wind Solutions
“In the collaboration, we benefited greatly from Dansk AM Hub, who inspired us to look at other materials. They challenged our design, they challenged our way of thinking, and they pointed us towards potential partners to actually get the component produced."

Kenneth B. Madsen, CTO, Advansor
"We have previously used 3D printing for production in plastic, but the collaboration with Dansk AM Hub was about producing high-pressure components in metal for CO2 cooling in cold stores. Systems that must be able to withstand pressure of more than 700 bar. Honestly, I did not think it was possible before we took part in this project.”

Anders Johnsen, VP R&D and Technology, Carmo
“Within 5 years, we will create additional annual revenue of DKK 5–8 million, to the extent that 3D printing can support our current injection moulding business. Perhaps the potential is even greater—who knows? The only thing we know for sure is that we keep having new aha moments when we look at 3D printing. At Carmo, it is a technology that is here to stay.”
