About the project

With the project Circularity in the Production Hall, DAMRC, Danish AM Hub and Aarhus University focus on developing and demonstrating new methods for hybrid manufacturing that make it possible to remanufacture worn or incorrectly produced components and extend the service life of production equipment. In this way, companies can reduce material waste and energy consumption-while strengthening both their green profile and competitiveness.

Danish AM Hub contributes in particular with our experience in 3D printing and with our CO2e calculator, which makes it possible to estimate the actual sustainability potential of different solutions and compare production methods. In this way, we can clarify where the greatest environmental benefit lies and support companies in making green and financially sustainable decisions.

The aim is not only to develop new technologies, but to ensure that they have a real impact out in the production halls. Through concrete cases, the project will demonstrate how circular production models can create value both for companies and for society-and how Denmark can lead the way in the green transition of industry.
