BioBuild Business creates an innovative approach and accelerates the development of new bio-based components for the construction sector through the use of technological, digital, and sustainable production methods. The project bridges researchers, architects, startups, and manufacturers to create new business models based on market- and data-driven radical innovation. In interdisciplinary innovation teams, bio-based market opportunities are developed into proof of concept based on specific company challenges.
The purpose of BioBuild Business is to establish a method for driving innovation in the construction sector, new sustainable business models, and bio-based components manufactured using new production technology. Biogenic startups, SMEs, and large manufacturers must have the necessary infrastructure and expertise to develop, prototype, and validate new materials, design processes, and technologies at industrial scale.
Dansk AM Hub (AMH) brings experience in creating such a method from more than 400 advisory programmes with manufacturers and from a radical innovation project; IAMMSHRM – In this project, it was not a single biogenic component that created the value, but a fundamentally new bio-based building system. This is what we will systematically facilitate in this project.
