About Dansk AM Hub
We are Denmark’s national hub for additive manufacturing
Dansk AM Hub is a commercial foundation with a clear vision: to make Denmark a leader in sustainable production through additive manufacturing (3D printing). We bring together and strengthen the Danish AM ecosystem and help manufacturing companies leverage the technology for innovation, growth, and the green transition.
Danish industry needs to improve its international competitiveness. We believe that greater awareness of new technologies and business models is a crucial tool for change, and that additive manufacturing in particular can be a source of innovation, sustainable production, and value creation for each individual company.
Dansk AM Hub aims to bring the Danish ecosystem together and, together, inspire, drive change, and provide advice on AM, with the purpose of enabling Danish industry to see the many-sided opportunities of AM technology. We work to build future-proof competencies and put new knowledge into use for the development of new business models and innovative solutions.
How
Our approach
We put additive manufacturing into play in Denmark by inspiring, facilitating, and challenging. Here are the four ways we create change.
WE PROMOTE AM
We raise awareness of AM and put the technology into play. We do this, among other things, through our annual AM Summit.
WE DEVELOP AM
We connect companies with experts and new technologies and help them find the right partners for collaboration and testing opportunities.
WE IMPLEMENT AM
We run concrete projects where companies gain hands-on experience with AM. We do this, among other things, through the company programme AM Sustain. See all the stories in our case archive.
WE CHALLENGE AM
We push the boundaries of what AM can do. We do this, for example, by measuring the climate impact with our CO2e calculator and by applying the technology in new industries such as construction and textiles.

Is 3D printing the sustainable choice for your company? With our CO2e calculator, you can get a data-based answer before you get started. The calculator compares the carbon footprint of traditional production with additive manufacturing based on the product’s entire life cycle. It is easy, fast, and accurate.
