Become Part of Our Metal Additive Manufacturing Industry Network in 2026

Facilitated by Danish AM Hub

Metal 3D printing is rapidly transforming industries—from aerospace and energy to design, tooling, and advanced production

Yet with the excitement comes a set of real, shared challenges:

Working with Danish manufacturers, we have learned that there is a sense of significant potential in the technology. Many have identified potential for metal additive manufacturing in their business. However, they also say it has not yet taken off, for a variety of reasons:

How do you identify valuable use cases and get the right stakeholders on board?

How do you build the skills and partnerships needed to scale?

How do you build a reliable network of suppliers and partners?

How does your supply chain change when adopting a new design and manufacturing approach?

You do not have to navigate this alone

We believe there are a couple of industrial dynamics that are holding back the adoption of metal additive manufacturing in Denmark;

We do not have a strong aerospace, defence, or automotive industry that has historically driven the technology forward.

Many Danish manufacturers operate at too low a volume to invest alone, until the technology and ecosystem mature and costs decrease.

Join our network dedicated to maturing metal additive technology in Denmark, where professionals and managers from various industries come together to explore opportunities and discuss key challenges of implementing and scaling metal 3D printing.

Participants will represent Danish manufacturers or global manufacturers with a strong presence in Denmark, who have either invested in, or have an ambition to adopt metal additive manufacturing within their operations.

Why join?

As metal AM grows, many companies face similar concerns:

  • Is the investment worth it?
  • How will costs develop over time?
  • How do we integrate AM into existing production?
  • Can we ensure consistent quality and repeatability?
  • Where do we find the right expertise and suppliers?

By participating in the network, you gain access to a community that openly shares experiences, pitfalls, best practices, and real-world cases. Together, we can reduce uncertainty, build confidence, and make smarter decisions that move your organization forward.

Take the leap together

The annual participation fee is

DKK 15,000 (excl. VAT)

This does not cover travel costs related to each session. The two main sessions will be held in Denmark, based on the geographical distribution of participating companies.

Your participation fee covers two colleagues, and we encourage you to participate with two people to get the most out of the network.

What is included?

To create real value and spark meaningful collaboration, the network will meet twice in person and twice online each year.

  • Two in-person meetings will give you hands-on insights, facility visits, demonstrations, and strong personal connections. We aim for these sessions to take place around May and November.
  • One online session will ensure continuity, knowledge sharing, and easy participation—no matter where you are.

Across all sessions, you will engage with experts, hear from companies already working with metal AM, discuss challenges, and help shape a community that supports your next steps.

We aim to arrange a one-day visit to a relevant actor in Northern Europe within a reasonable travel distance. Travel costs are not included in the participation fee.

Who we are

Danish AM Hub is Denmark’s national hub for additive manufacturing (AM). We want to make Denmark a world leader in using advanced manufacturing technologies for the development of sustainable production and new business models.

We build on a baseline of having helped 400 Danish manufacturers find the right opportunities to leverage additive manufacturing technologies, and a portfolio of innovation projects across the ecosystem of research institutions, technology vendors, and experts.
