Help strengthen the competitiveness of Danish manufacturers with AI and Additive Manufacturing
Business Developer
About the role
Help strengthen the competitiveness of Danish manufacturers with AI and Additive Manufacturing.
Do you have both market development and marketing skills, and would you like to use them to build new relationships, generate leads, and increase visibility in Danish industry? Are you motivated by helping manufacturing companies adopt new technology?
Then you may be the colleague we are looking for.
Dansk AM Hub
Dansk AM Hub is a commercial foundation working to make Danish companies world-leading in the use of new production technology. To strengthen the competitiveness of Danish manufacturers, we offer a range of independent advisory programmes that:
- work closely with companies to implement AM as a strategic tool
- support manufacturers in integrating sustainability risks and opportunities into their product decisions
- test opportunities for using code and artificial intelligence in product development
At the same time, an important part of the foundation’s work is to initiate and contribute to projects that benefit industry, in collaboration with knowledge institutions and other stakeholders in and outside Denmark.
Dansk AM Hub has had great success in integrating business and technology with our manufacturers. Independently and with curiosity, we identify new business opportunities, which are then explored using new technology.
We need a colleague who can help us turn our knowledge, projects, and offerings into better lead generation and a stronger dialogue with companies.
Your areas of responsibility
You will be part of a small, ambitious team that works closely with Danish manufacturing companies. The role is both hands-on and developmental: you will help us increase visibility, build pipeline, and support our advisory and project activities.
You will work across marketing, sales support, and projects. Most importantly, you are willing to take initiative, create structure, and help the team have more high-quality conversations with relevant companies-and ultimately solve more tasks together with them.
Your key tasks will include:
- Marketing and communications: Develop content for campaigns, case studies, presentations, and events.
- Support for advisory programmes, before, during, and after the programmes and workshops we run in the team
- Lead generation and pipeline: Identify relevant companies, segments, and contacts, and help build and qualify the pipeline.
- CRM and structure: Keep track of leads, contacts, follow-ups, and activities so the team works more systematically and efficiently.
- Project and event support: Assist with planning, coordination, communication, and follow-up for workshops, innovation projects, company programmes, and events.
You will be based in Valby and visit both SMEs and larger manufacturing companies across Denmark. The role is newly created, and you will have the opportunity to help shape it along the way as we find the right approach.
Who we are looking for
We imagine you are early in your career and have 1–3 years of experience in marketing, business development, a startup/innovation environment, or a similar context. You may also be a recent graduate with relevant experience from a student job or internship.
We are looking for someone who brings a strong combination of the following:
- Marketing understanding: You have experience with, or an interest in, campaigns, events, target audiences, and content.
- Commercial curiosity: You find it exciting to identify relevant companies, understand their needs, and help create new dialogues.
- Structure and follow-up: You can keep an overview of leads, tasks, and processes-and you follow things through to completion.
- Drive to execute: You thrive in both larger development tasks and the smaller practical tasks that keep day-to-day operations running.
- Curiosity about industry and technology: You do not need to be a technical expert, but you must be eager to understand companies’ realities and the technologies we work with.
A relevant educational background could be in communication, marketing, business, innovation, design, technology, business economics, or similar-but we are open to different profiles.
